Enjoy the Privileges of Membership: Membership in the Embroiderers' Association of Canada commences upon the receipt of fees by the Membership Director. If you have any questions about membership, please contact the Membership Director.

Types of Memberships:

  • Chapter Membership

    •  Individuals may join EAC through a local Chapter. Cost is $35.00 per member annually plus local membership fees.

  • Life Membership
     At the May 2000 Board meeting it was decided that Life membership will be an honourary designation.

  • National Membership
     Individuals not affiliated with a local Chapter may join EAC as national members. Cost is $35.00 annually. Membership outside Canada is $45.00 annually.
  • Affiliate Membership
     Groups belonging to other national organizations may become affiliated with EAC for $50.00 annually.

  • Youth Membership - 9 to 17 Years
    In 1992, a new category of membership was established for Youth Embroiderers, ages 9 to 17 years. These members are sponsored by an EAC Chapter or join without an EAC sponsor as a National member. Annual dues are half the regular EAC fees, $15.00 ($20.00 for outside of Canada).
    The purpose of Youth Embroiderers is to foster an interest and develop skills in the art of embroidery among the youth of Canada.
